Randomness!
01) I am a sucker for Tenshinhan/Lunch doujinshi.  Spontaneously!Romantic!And therefore out of character!Tenshinhan is my crack.

02) I have spent way too much money on things this past month.

03) TTC revamp is more than a possibility.

04) Kuririn cosplay in pink "Bald Man" shirt (ala Vegeta's "Bad Man" shirt) is a MUST for me.  (Someone please reassure me that I'm not retarded for coming up with this...  or for thinking it's funny.)

05) Bald cap testing very soon!  (IT CAME IT CAME!)  Just gotta get a hold of Amanda. ...If not, I'm making my dad help me.  XD

06) Kuririn Oorin robes at 95%!  Just gotta dye the shoes that butt-ugly brown/yellow color.  -__-;

07) I drew porn (or something like that...), and I'll be posting it on this journal!  *laughs maniacally*

Good times.  G'night all~  <3

Short post is short. XP
Alrighty, I've got today and the next two days off, so it's time for some hard-core sewing!  Kimono are very difficult to sew, and I keep thinking I'm making mistakes...  However, except for the fact that I didn't buy enough fabric for the sleeves (...), I think it's going well.  -___-  I'm probably going to tackle the pants today or tomorrow, just to get away from the kimono of death.

Made a couple of edits to my overly-ambitious cosplay master list.

...It's a pretty nice day; I should lay outside and get a tan.  ^^;  Eventually, I'll have to get some make-up and start learning... how to use it to look more boy-ish.  XD

Other stuff:
- make PMK screencaps from the Premium DVD ([info]grendelity and [info]fadedfeathers should know what I'm talking about.  ^_~)
- Darkrai event on Saturday.
- Otakon panel (we'll get confirmation of that next week, right, [info]unyuu?)
- bald cap testing (begins after costume is done.)  *_*
- finish coloring Tatsu art.

Alan "SEX" Rickman!
one;
Ahahaha~~  I just finished watching Sense and Sensibility!  I'm overjoyed by the fact that Ang Lee directed it, and amused that so many Harry Potter actors were in it (Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Imelda Staunton, Robert Hardy, Elizabeth Spriggs, and Gemma Jones; Patrick Doyle even composed the score).  I've found a new favorite character in Colonel Brandon... which of course has nothing to do with the fact that Alan Rickman played him.  XP  Brandon is precisely the type of character I fall in love with: honorable, damn serious (but unintentionally funny), slightly awkward in social situations, steadfast, a bit shy and aloof, stubborn..... and with that rare smile so that when he does, the skies open up and the choir starts to sing....  *swoon*

I regret not reading Pride and Prejudice when it was assigned in Lit class in high school.  (I had an excuse.  XP)  But I think I'll enjoy reading Sense when I finally get my hands on a copy.  The movie gave me a glimpse into Brandon's character, and I'm hoping there's more about him in the original material.  X3  In addition, I felt the movie was lacking in certain essential details and story elements, like it was just skimming the world which Austen had created, and I'm hoping the novel will satisfy.

Alan Rickman is pure love, though.  (Glasses!Alan Rickman is the sexiest Alan Rickman ever.)  I really want to download the Sweeny Todd soundtrack and listen to him sing.  XD

two;
Man, closing in on 1000 pageviews at my pitiful deviantART site.  ...Should start thinking about doing something for the 1000th.  XD

three;
To Do:
- Check out Joann's for fabric.
- Go to music store and inquire about violin lessons. (Apparently playing violin left-handed is unusual.  Oh well.  XP  I'll do it anyway!)
- Plan NYC trip.
- Buy desk at IKEA.
- register for AnimeNEXT.
- figure out budget for all living expenses.
- find a roommate and an apartment for next semester.
- not freak out about the last two things.

About the NYC thing: [info]unyuu, would the 26th be OK?  I feel obligated to you to get this thing organized as soon as possible, but I also promised a few college buddies that we'd all go into the city together.  What do you think?  ^^;;  I really rather do it sooner, but things are semi-crazy, and I'm so sorry to make you wait so long!  (Obviously, you don't have to wait for me if you feel pressed for time, but you know that...  ^^  I'm just a nut.)

Pimp: [info]west_city for all your Otakon/DB Con 2008 needs!  <333

02. read a few chapters of The Amber Spyglass;
03. surfed the web.

Stuff I Should Be Doing:
01. studying for Japanese final;
02. looking at the patterns for my costume;
03. resizing the photos I took in Edgewater and post them;
04. finishing The Amber Spyglass.

Things I Discovered:
01. I'm quite taken with Haku from Naruto and Akito/Agito from Air Gear, despite not being a part of either fandom;

03. Tao Pai Pai cosplayer pwns all;

Not another Random Post!

Fellow artists (how can I call myself an artist???), you have until the end of November to buy Manga Studio 3.0 Debut Full Version for a discounted price of $29.99.  :D  I think I'm going to take advantage of this... despite my not being able to draw...?  It makes sense.  Somehow.

I need a new layout.  Something Peacemaker-y and dark...maybe.  I've been in such a creative slump lately.  D:

487 out of 493 Pokémon in my Pearl game.  If anyone needs the Starters from the previous games, I can breed them for you~~

Also on the game front, some stuff on my Buy list:
01. Bleach: Shattered Shaft (Wii)
02. Bleach: The Blade of Fate (DS) - kind of hinges on SS
03. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)
04. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
05. Dragon Quest Swords (Wii)
06. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Wii) - umm, I hate the domestic title...
07. Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) - no, I haven't got it yet...
08. Dragon Quest IX: Protectors of the Starry Sky (DS)

...Has anyone on the F-list played DBZ Harukanaru Densetsu...?

Since I requested a sketch from the wonderful [info]technoranma, I must post this in return:
The first 10 people to comment on this post get to request a sketch of their choosing from me. In return, they have to post this in their journal.

PMK thoughts are coming.  I know I promised them.  I need to start making posts of substance...

Vee-dee-oh gamez
I never knew that Ouendan = Elite Beat Agents.  I now have one more reason to buy that game.  I remember telling Amanda about 'this awesome rhythm-based game' (Elite Beat Agents) because I knew she liked Ouendan; and now, turns out that it's the same game-ish.  I'd also like to get Jump Super Stars because it's so pretty and because I still remember what it was like to play Geoff's copy.  +sigh+

I need money....

OMG VIDEO GAME WISHLIST:
01) Pokémon Pearl (I'm neurotic about that accent mark above the "e" for some stupid reason.)
02) Harukanaru Goku Densetsu (domestic, though, so there's really no "Goku" in the title +rolls eyes+)
03) Elite Beat Agents (there's a sequel coming out)
04) Cooking Mama (been meaning to get this one...)
05) Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
06) one of the Bleach games
07) Jump Super Stars

....Umm, I am aware that all of the games on my wishlist are DS games.  XP  It just happens to be that way, I guess.  XD  Ummm, I still want to try out Sparking!NEO (Budokai Tenkaichi 2) just because... because....  Yeah.

If anyone can recommend cool PS2 games, that'd be awesome.  +thumbs up+  (Consequently, [info]propelledjimmy, how's Uzumaki Chronicles treating you?  ^^)

In other news: Hello, high speed internet!

And, I'm thinking about quitting RL (lol, it has the same letters as "real life") and applying at Johnny Carino's.  I'd be curious as to how much more money in tips I'd make at JC....  RL frustrates the crap outta me.  I physically hate the place; the cheesy bread can burn in hell for all I care.  I swear the bread is made with crack, because people are borderline-addicted/obsessed with their 9-grams-of-fat-per-piece goodness and can't even wait for me to introduce myself before they say, "Where's my bread?"  Seriously.  (Sorry for the mini!rant.)

Ah, food service industry.  It will break you.  It will break you.  +stabs food service industry with a knife and makes it asplode+

Wow, it's late...

Oh.. my... god...
Apparently I can't distinguish between 月 (month) and 日 (day) because apparently, the last volume of Fruits Basket and the Nezumi Fanbook come out this month.

Holy crap.

Hopefully, tomorrow, Sanseido in Edgewater will have them in; and I'll be able to get them (plus volume 22 -- Katsuya!) ♥ Kyoko looks absolutely bee~yutyful on 23.  <3

So...  the traditional wish list thing:

01. Loveless #3 and 4
02. Fruits Basket #22, 23 and the Fanbook.
03. Fullmetal Alchemist #15
04. Bleach #11, 22, 23, and 26
05. Ouran #3

...Uh....  Thank God I have a well-paying job now.  XD  But while we're on this: people do NOT KNOW HOW TO TIP.  You DON'T tip 4-6%.  I can understand completely if your server legitimately sucks ass, is rude, etc.  ..but people, please.  Learn how to tip for Godsakes.  /mini!rant

Apparently, bad tips + less money = more manga..?

What was, is.
This is because [info]adventures made me.  XD

Top 10 Old Skool Shows That Should be on DVD:
(in no particular order)
1. Legends of the Hidden Temple
2. Kenan and Kel
3. The Angry Beavers
4. KaBlam!
5. Weinerville
6. Animorphs
7. Ghostwriter
8. Beast Wars
9. Gummi Bears
10. The Wuzzles

I'm sure some of these are on DVD, but I'm too lazy to confirm any.  Some, like #5, are Just for the Hell of It.  I'd love to see the last two on DVD, because I forgot about them until now, as I was searching Wiki for shows to put on the list.

Does anyone remember Eureeka's Castle?  Webster, the spider, scared the crap out of me when I was little.

...My neck is killing me.  I can barely move it.  +wails+  XD;;;;  Stupid huge trays at Red Lobster...

Three's the Charm isn't dead, though I hadn't formally updated it for a good two months.  I've actually given it a new layout, which I'm liking *a lot.*  ^^  But I'm having trouble publishing it, so if you were to go to the site right now, only the old layout will be viewable.

Hah.  Deathly Hallows comes out on July 21st.

Bobobo vs. hohoho~! XD
My nephew is the cutest thing evar.  ^^  He and his parental units came to visit today.  The poor baby has acid reflux that causes him to throw up everything that goes into his stomach (which is basically breast milk.)  I really want him to get better.  Otherwise, he seems very happy and healthy.  And cute.  ^__^

We're all going to Edgewater on Monday (located in North Jersey; it's a Japanese market with a bookstore and toy store.)  I can't wait!  Manga!  XD Like I need anymore of that shite.

[EDIT]
My traditional "Manga-I-Plan-On-Buying" List:

- Dragon Ball 10, + another (probably 15, for the Tao Pai Pai x Tenshinhan hot seks er, Budokai match)
- Bleach 15, + one that I'll buy on a whim
- D. Gray-man 1 maybe
- or Ouran 1 or 3

When does the next Hagaren come out?  Volume 15? [EDIT THE SECOND] I am *so* behind in the manga.  I've just finished reading ch. 64 - I don't even know which chapter I left off at.  =_=;  At any rate, the appearance of Armstrong's sister surprised me, which means I definitely missed something because I vaguely recall some discussion about Ed and Al going to meet her up North.  XD  I must play catch up..

Random side: I've been wondering about Yachiru's age.  I think maybe she might be old in Shinigami years compared to human years, but in human years, she's like 6?  *_*  I read that somewhere... and I'm just hankering for some enlightenment/confirmation.

Other than that, there's not much going on.  I'm still waiting for LJ to delete abandoned accounts from its database thingy so that I can claim 20_wishes already.  And I've found another car that's from a private seller who's leaving NJ and wants to sell soon.  It's a '04 Mazda 6, it's grey and it has cloth upholstery (can't have everything.)  Good mileage and good price.  It's in Basking Ridge, which isn't too bad a drive (it's like going to Minado, the sushi buffet.)  I don't know how far away it is in miles.  ><

...I've had a surprising amount to say in this post than I thought I would have.  Even with that said, I don't think I'll be posting too much for an indeterminable period of time (which could last from a few days to a couple of weeks.)  I just don't feel very up to it.  As I said in my previous post, I've been feeling very "fake" lately.  It's hard to explain.  :\  I feel kind of confused, not a little lost, and very out of sorts.  I'll still be around to work on my new maintainership or whatever over at [info]fanart50, and once I can get 20_wishes, I'll putter around on that too.  And I'll still comment on all y'all's journals and reply when you write me.  ^^

I just haven't got the drive to type about my own life.  Quite frankly, I think it's boring and stupid, and nothing anyone wants to read about.  I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm distancing myself.  That's really not my intent, because I still want to keep in contact with you all and read about what's going on with you, your lives, as well as various fandoms (after all, I still be wanting to comment on your entries!  XD)

So, I guess, semi-hiatus for now?  ^.^

Fandom ambitions...
There really is a lot I want to do for my DB fandom:

1. Stake a General DB claim at [info]iconfiend100.
2. Make a fanmix.
3. Work on my [info]drabbles100 Tenshinhan claim.
4. Once my art muse comes back (T_T) I want to draw more for my [info]fanart50 Tenshinhan claim. (I've got a somewhat lengthy list of ideas for fan art.  Muse, come back!!!!)
5. Post at [info]31_days.
6. Make AMV's.

You all have definitely been my inspiration - especially for writing and drawing; so right now, it's up to me to actually go ahead and do it.

Speaking of [info]fanart50, one of the mods whose job is to update the directory and accept people's claims is looking for someone to take over the job.  Should I do it?  I'm seriously considering it - my own claim has not been accepted there yet, and while I understand the mod's reasons for putting the acceptance of claims on hold, I'm feeling a little impatient.  I want to be able to post to the comm.  ^^;;  That's why I would want to try and take on this task - perhaps others feel the same, waiting for their claims to be accepted (plus, they might all actually have stuff to post to the comm. (unlike, me who only has one piece done so far. +blames art muse's absence+)
