AKA super mini hiatus which will probably last for one more day because that's just what happens after I actually/finally say, "Hey, I'll be back later!"

I've decided to make another friends cut.  The F-list has grown a bit too large for me to handle; and in some cases, I feel I've become too distant with some of you to maintain a good relationship.  This cut, in particular, is an awful one; I cut a lot of people whom I had gotten to know through the Fruits Basket fandom.  Since the manga ended in Japan, I feel we've drifted apart in other ways.

I've had to cut a few of you who are also friends "in real life", which doesn't seem to make sense, but I just feel there are other and better ways to keep in touch with you.  It's probably a little boring for you to read all my random fandom-related stuff, anyway.  ^^;;

Those of you with fanfic- and non-community icon- journals: I've bookmarked said journals and will continue to visit them on a regular basis.  I'd like to give a little more focus to your personal journals.  ^^  (And if you want me to beta any fics, I'll be more than happy to do so!)

Friends cuts really suck...  I hope you know that I really enjoyed being friends with you; please take care!

Such craziness.  It's 1 in the morn; I have not scanned some DB manga for my web site.  I should have, but I didn't.  XP  Instead, the thing with LJ and that organization (whose name alludes me at the moment; forgive me.  It's late.  ><) has taken precedence.  It's so crazy.  And yet, I've never felt so involved in, so a part of a group before now.  I'm proud of you, fandom.

-  I made my very first batch of icons... that I'm actually quite proud of!  ^^  They're for sentient_icons and my Loveless Zero claim.  So far, I have three but I've a bunch lined up.  Oh creativity!!  X3

My nephew is the cutest thing evar.  ^^  He and his parental units came to visit today.  The poor baby has acid reflux that causes him to throw up everything that goes into his stomach (which is basically breast milk.)  I really want him to get better.  Otherwise, he seems very happy and healthy.  And cute.  ^__^

We're all going to Edgewater on Monday (located in North Jersey; it's a Japanese market with a bookstore and toy store.)  I can't wait!  Manga!  XD Like I need anymore of that shite.

When does the next Hagaren come out?  Volume 15? [EDIT THE SECOND] I am *so* behind in the manga.  I've just finished reading ch. 64 - I don't even know which chapter I left off at.  =_=;  At any rate, the appearance of Armstrong's sister surprised me, which means I definitely missed something because I vaguely recall some discussion about Ed and Al going to meet her up North.  XD  I must play catch up..

Random side: I've been wondering about Yachiru's age.  I think maybe she might be old in Shinigami years compared to human years, but in human years, she's like 6?  *_*  I read that somewhere... and I'm just hankering for some enlightenment/confirmation.

Other than that, there's not much going on.  I'm still waiting for LJ to delete abandoned accounts from its database thingy so that I can claim 20_wishes already.  And I've found another car that's from a private seller who's leaving NJ and wants to sell soon.  It's a '04 Mazda 6, it's grey and it has cloth upholstery (can't have everything.)  Good mileage and good price.  It's in Basking Ridge, which isn't too bad a drive (it's like going to Minado, the sushi buffet.)  I don't know how far away it is in miles.  ><


...I've had a surprising amount to say in this post than I thought I would have.  Even with that said, I don't think I'll be posting too much for an indeterminable period of time (which could last from a few days to a couple of weeks.)  I just don't feel very up to it.  As I said in my previous post, I've been feeling very "fake" lately.  It's hard to explain.  :\  I feel kind of confused, not a little lost, and very out of sorts.  I'll still be around to work on my new maintainership or whatever over at fanart50, and once I can get 20_wishes, I'll putter around on that too.  And I'll still comment on all y'all's journals and reply when you write me.  ^^

I just haven't got the drive to type about my own life.  Quite frankly, I think it's boring and stupid, and nothing anyone wants to read about.  I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm distancing myself.  That's really not my intent, because I still want to keep in contact with you all and read about what's going on with you, your lives, as well as various fandoms (after all, I still be wanting to comment on your entries!  XD)

So, I guess, semi-hiatus for now?  ^.^

I killed nekodoshi.  Sorry 'bout that, dude.  ^^;;  Nekodoshi was my Fruits Basket LJ, which suffered the horrible Zero-New-Posts Disease back in November.  It's finally been laid to rest.

Thank you for being its friend.  (I know most of you didn't know it existed, due to it's ailment and my lack of proper care.)  (How long will I go on treating it like a thing that's just died?)

I've been searching Amazon Japan for a couple of Dragon Ball daizenshuu (#6 and #7) with little luck.  I found some Marketplace sellers who have the books in used condition, but they don't ship to the US.  But just in case, I'll be asking them whether or not they'd be willing to ship to the US.  +crosses fingers+  I got my #3 daizenshuu from a Marketplacer, so it's not impossible...  ^^

So, my friend Jeff (actually, it's "Geoffrey," so would the nickname be "Geoff?") has the Jump Superstars for the DS (the game that will never reach US shores because of all the tricky licensing issues of the series that are represented in the game.  It was extremely exciting to hold it and read the little booklet and PLAY IT for five seconds.  XD  It was totally awesome.  Okay, so half the time I didn't know exactly what to do (shooting a Kamehameha was *fun.*) but it was really cool anywayz!

I wish you didn't have to pay $15 to change your LJ username...  I've been thinking on and off about changing mine.  But I'd really have to be set to it, you know?  I also read that if you have a name beginning or ending with and underscore, you get a freebie chance to change it.  o_O

Possible changes:  shikach0u (or some variant.)  shikach0, or something..
