Alan "SEX" Rickman!
one;
Ahahaha~~  I just finished watching Sense and Sensibility!  I'm overjoyed by the fact that Ang Lee directed it, and amused that so many Harry Potter actors were in it (Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Imelda Staunton, Robert Hardy, Elizabeth Spriggs, and Gemma Jones; Patrick Doyle even composed the score).  I've found a new favorite character in Colonel Brandon... which of course has nothing to do with the fact that Alan Rickman played him.  XP  Brandon is precisely the type of character I fall in love with: honorable, damn serious (but unintentionally funny), slightly awkward in social situations, steadfast, a bit shy and aloof, stubborn..... and with that rare smile so that when he does, the skies open up and the choir starts to sing....  *swoon*

I regret not reading Pride and Prejudice when it was assigned in Lit class in high school.  (I had an excuse.  XP)  But I think I'll enjoy reading Sense when I finally get my hands on a copy.  The movie gave me a glimpse into Brandon's character, and I'm hoping there's more about him in the original material.  X3  In addition, I felt the movie was lacking in certain essential details and story elements, like it was just skimming the world which Austen had created, and I'm hoping the novel will satisfy.

Alan Rickman is pure love, though.  (Glasses!Alan Rickman is the sexiest Alan Rickman ever.)  I really want to download the Sweeny Todd soundtrack and listen to him sing.  XD

two;
Man, closing in on 1000 pageviews at my pitiful deviantART site.  ...Should start thinking about doing something for the 1000th.  XD

three;
To Do:
- Check out Joann's for fabric.
- Go to music store and inquire about violin lessons. (Apparently playing violin left-handed is unusual.  Oh well.  XP  I'll do it anyway!)
- Plan NYC trip.
- Buy desk at IKEA.
- register for AnimeNEXT.
- figure out budget for all living expenses.
- find a roommate and an apartment for next semester.
- not freak out about the last two things.

About the NYC thing: [info]unyuu, would the 26th be OK?  I feel obligated to you to get this thing organized as soon as possible, but I also promised a few college buddies that we'd all go into the city together.  What do you think?  ^^;;  I really rather do it sooner, but things are semi-crazy, and I'm so sorry to make you wait so long!  (Obviously, you don't have to wait for me if you feel pressed for time, but you know that...  ^^  I'm just a nut.)

Pimp: [info]west_city for all your Otakon/DB Con 2008 needs!  <333

*head/desk*
So... My intentions on going on hiatus have... fallen through.  Or something.  XP  Still, don't expect too much from me on a regular basis.  (Pretty much what I've been doing for the past few months: not posting every day, but regularly enough to not be considered dead.)

That, by the way, is what is meant by "going in circles".

I've now got to add "My nephew's first birthday" to my HOLY CRAP!July is Awesome list.  His birthday party is on the same day as HP DH release.  Oh happy day~~~!  ^___^
Yes.  And speaking about July:  Much cash for to be spent at AnimeNEXT.  These two (or are they the same?) Dragon Shiryu figures are really cool.  <3  One  Two  I dig his expression in the second image.  Not that I'll ever find these guys at the Con....  I"M SO EXCITED.
And I've never seen a cosplay skit before this one: Ouran Host Club.  It's so hilarious and cute.  I love the twins.  They steal the show.  XD  Haruhi got tall.  O_O

[info]dreamsforsale16 : The Decade of Enchantment Ball is at Prophesy.  I knew I wasn't going crazy.  (.......)

Creating seiyuu lovebars is really fun.  I love Nozawa Masako (Goku/Son family from Dragon Ball) and Tanaka Mayumi (Kuririn from Dragon Ball; Luffy from One Piece; Pazu from Laputa).  Guilmon (played by Nozawa) is my favorite Digimon.  XD  *dorks*  Koyama Mami (Lunch from Dragon Ball; Arale from Dr. Slump; Shaina from Saint Seiya) reminds me a lot of Emori Hiroko (Chaozu from Dragon Ball; Chiyako from Marmalade Boy).

I like gathering little random facts about actors.  I enjoy finding out which actors have worked together on several different projects, 'cuz I have fun imagining them being all, "Hey again!" and having a history.  I'm really weird like that though.  XDDD

Finished list:
- Suzuoki Hirotaka (View here.)
- Nozawa Masako
- Tanaka Mayumi

In Progress:
- Furuya Toru
- Koyama Mami

[EDIT] Oh yeah, has anyone read/seen Earthian or Saint Seiya?  Is it/are they good?  ^^

Life be a journey (yo)
As of now, my tags list looks like this.   XP  Organized much?

I swear I had a dream the other night that involved the animated movie Anastasia.  (Because I often have dreams about anime/animation and 2-D characters in general...?  Hah.  It's not true.)  Although the details have completely left me, I can't help but think about the film and how freaking long it's been since I've watched it.  I was in .... the fourth grade or so when it came out in the theatres, and I don't think I've seen it since then -- or rather, since it came out on DVD video.  XD  I'm thinking about adding it to my Netflix queue so I can... er, re-live the magic.  +snorts+  Nooo, I actually did like it; it's just that my memory is fuzzy about certain/many things.  More on just how much I'm in love with traditional animation later.  ^^

Dimitri was hot.  Holy crap, John Cusack did his voice??!?

Oh, and I don't know anything about Lost; I barely skimmed the pilot episode.... so when I was flipping channels tonight and happened across it, Charlie and.... some other British guy... were arguing about something.  Dom Monaghan has such funny little ears.  XD  He'll always be a hobbit to me; even his line delivery as Charlie reminded me of his acting in Return of the King.  My fault; I just can't get Merry out of my head.  ^^;;

...I have mad comments and friends' entries to catch up on..

Matthew Lewis - How freaking cute is he?
www.matthewlewisfan.com

I learned some new stuff:  His eyes are green.  (Yum!  I love people with green eyes.  ...Maybe he should play Harry instead?  XD)  He's left-handed and is 5'10''.  O_o  He's the Boy Who Grew, I tell ya!

It's officially two weeks until my birthday and 19 years old.

[EDIT] Oh, and I love Ian McKellen, too.

[EDIT2] James Frain.  He's another freakin' Englishman.  XD

Dear Bella
Hm.  I've seen Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange in OotP) in more films than I thought I did.  ^^;;  She was in Big Fish, the new Wonka movie, the Curse of the Wererabbit, and The Corpse Bride!  And it's really cool that she VA'd alongside Ralph Fiennes (Voldy) in Wererabbit .  That's an interesting tidbit of info!

Lose the 'tude, dude
In biology, we're watching a brilliant movie "Something the Lord Made," which if you've never heard of it (and I didn't before today,) is about a man named Vivien Thomas who was a "pioneer of heart surgery."  Southern accent!Alan Rickman is in it, another good reason to see the movie.  +sigh+ It's a really incredible television movie.  +waves Vivien Thomas flag+

Kujou and Kadoma are so canon! XD  From ch. 80:
Kadoma: Kujo-sempai's back rubs are first-rate in the world!!
Kadoma: I know because we freshmen often go to the bathhouse with Kujo-sempai!

pg.15
Kadoma: It feels soooo good when your back is rubbed with a soft towel lathered with a lot of soap, and afterwards, leaves you with a smooth, refreshing sensation!
{freshmen all look a little surprised}

Freshman 1: huh?!
Nakatsu: // sweatdrop // [so, is that what happened?]
Freshman 1: .. he used a rough sponge for me...
Freshman 2: ... me too.

Soo, Kujou gives Kadoma special treatment.  I wonder what else he does for him...  ;)
