AnimeNEXT 2008

Things are beginning to pile up, but I want to do something very simple and easy for AN 2008.  So, with that in mind, I'm thinking Haruhi from Ouran, but not Host Club Member!Haruhi.  Click on the cut for reference images.  ^^





Yep!  It's simple, the clothing will be relatively easy to find, and I don't need a wig (just a trim to keep it neat).  I'll just bake in the June sun, is all.  XD  ...Will people know who I am?

Also kind-of up for consideration:
- Kiki (Kiki's Delivery Service)
- Luffy (One Piece)
- Mitani (Hikaru no Go)

I'd recognize you!! Man though, that sweater in Jersey heat doesn't sound nice. She has some cute summer/mall type outfits too eh? Anyway you look enough like her that it's recognizable and simple to walk around in!

Not familiar with Hikaru no Go, but the others look like you'd be able to pull them off so easily. You pick good lovable characters ^^

Yeah... not looking forward to sweating, but oh well. The sacrifices we make for a fun cosplay time. XD;; She does have some of those outfits, but I thought they'd be harder to find... Plus, I just want to wear glasses and that sweater. XD (Wish I had a Tamaki.. would make it easier..)

Good! Maybe I'll do Mitani just randomly and slap a few photos online. 8D (Hikaru no Go is awesome!)

Okie~ ^^ Ah, Luffy!!!! One Piece cosplay would be fun, if we don't do Cross Epoch stuff! (Must refresh my memory for CE beforehand anyway.)

The only one that you mentioned that I recognize is Luffy but the Haruhi costume looks cute. :D

When is the con, because a sweater in the summer would be evil... Luffy's costume should be pretty comfy, though.

Whatever you chose, post pics, please!!! I wanna see! :D

X3 Yeah, I'd really like to do both... but with the DB cosplay for Otakon and everything I have to do for that, I doubt I'll be able to pull of Luffy in addition to Haruhi. *laments*

It's in June. ^^;; I did Youji last year (wow, how time flies!) and wore long sleeves then, too. *shrug* Just can't stay away from those cold-weather outfits! XD

Will definitely do! ^___^

You know, there's like the best icon with that Haruhi picture. It was like "Haruhi Potter, and the chamber of secrets" naturally the chamber of secrets had all of the host club in it 8D

You will bake the in June sun but i think... it would be worth it! And it is chilly inside the Expo :D
